Performing a large machinery efficiency test run is strongly recommended for all custom formulations prior to a first true production run. This item typically has a lead time of 4-6 weeks (please note: this will be delayed if we do not have all of your ingredients in our facility already and/or any ingredients need to be specially ordered for you).
This test run allows you to see exactly how large scale machinery will impact the texture and coating of your custom recipe because large scale production can cause some changes compared to small scale R&D 'bench' samples. At the same time, YouBar's operations team analyzes the run speed and efficiency in order to be able to offer the most aggressive pricing possible for a true production run.
